Description

Perform Basic Life Support & First Aid Procedures:

This course is for persons required to assess the emergency situation and provide basic Life Support and

basic First Aid in order to stabilise patients prior to transfer to the emergency services.

People credited with this unit standard are able to:

 Demonstrate an understanding of emergency scene management.

 Assess an emergency situation.

 Apply First Aid procedures to a life-threatening situation.

 Treat common injuries.


Please use a headset or speakers as there are demonstration videos throughout the course.
